The primary mission of the North Branch Volunteer Fire Department is to provide protection
and enhance the quality of life for the citizens and the visitors of North Branch and
surrounding areas.  Our goal is to provide a customer oriented fire protection program
through an innovative, proactive, and cost efficient approach to emergency response and
public fire education.
 
 

The North Branch Volunteer Fire Department was started in 1895.  It consisted of __.
 
Today we are a group of 28 men and women that volunteer to provide fire prevention and
fire fighting caused by natural and man-made hazards.  Click here to meet our firefighters.
 
Our Fire Station opened in 2002 and houses our fleet of __.
 
 

We are dispatched by the Chisago County Sheriff's Department dispatchers located in
Center City.
 
Our coverage area consists of the City of North Branch (Chisago County), North Branch Township (Isanti County), and Fish Lake Township (Chisago County).
 
We receive and supply mutual aid support to our surrounding departments.  Those are
the Stacy Lent Fire Department and Linwood Fire Department (Anoka County) to our
south, the Isanti Fire District (Isanti County) and Cambridge Fire Department
(Isanti County) to our west, the Harris Fire Department to our north, and the Almelund
Fire Department to our east.
